CPC Appoints Lynn Lucarelli, VP Public Relations & Chief Development Officer

CPC Behavioral Healthcare, Monmouth County’s provider of choice for integrated care of behavioral health, mental wellness, substance use, and special education services, has appointed Lynn Lucarelli as VP Public Relations and Chief Development Officer. Lynn will guide the philanthropic efforts of the CPC Foundation while strengthening the visibility and capacity of CPC’s mission throughout the community.

“CPC is proud to welcome Lynn Lucarelli to our leadership team and we are confident that her deep experience in nonprofit development, community outreach and communications, along with her enthusiasm for the betterment of our community, will advance our strategic goals, and assist us in elevating our programming and broadening our reach,” says Vera Sansone, President & CEO of CPC Behavioral Healthcare.

Lucarelli says, “I am thrilled to be joining the CPC community during such an exciting time. With CPC’s recent federal designation as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center, combined with the increasing mental health needs that have been exacerbated since the onset of the pandemic---especially among our youth, now is the perfect time to help our community emerge stronger by increasing awareness and engaging the community in CPC’s mission. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone involved in CPC while building relationships among staff, volunteers, donors, and the legacy families who helped found CPC many decades ago.”

As a lifelong Monmouth County resident with a career that spans over two decades in nonprofit development and community relations, Lynn has held executive leadership and development roles at local organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Horizons Student Enrichment Program at Rumson Country Day School, and most recently at 180 Turning Lives Around where she spent the last seven years. Lynn’s favorite pastimes include spending time with her two teenagers on the beaches of the Jersey Shore and Captiva, and in the mountains of Vermont, as well as bike riding, gardening, and giving back to her community of Fair Haven, NJ where she resides with her family.
