CPC Presents the 2nd Annual Driftwood Cabana Club Beach Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, October 7
In 2016, Stacey & Mike Warshauer and Brian & Chris Torcivia launched the first beach volleyball tournament to raise funds to address the escalating public health crisis in our nation and in our community, where drug-related deaths for young people now exceed car accidents and homicide combined. With the strong support of the Event Sponsors: Warshauer Electric, Torcon and Driftwood Cabana Club and Tiki Bar in combination with twenty-three additional sponsors, twenty-five volleyball teams, and donations for gift raffles, the event raised funds that enabled CPC’s Addiction Recovery Program to provide life-saving kits of Narcan and medications to treat addictions to teenagers and young adults seeking to recover from a heroin or opiate addiction.
The 2017 Driftwood Cabana Club Beach Volleyball Tournament is on Saturday, October 7th at 11:00 a.m. at the Driftwood Cabana Club at 1485 Ocean Avenue, Sea Bright NJ and will feature even more than last year, with more teams and fun for everyone in a beautiful location.
There are many ways to support this event and help to save lives. You can join the growing list of sponsors, recruit a team to play in the tournament, attend the event and purchase food and beverages at the Tiki Bar --- Driftwood is donating 20% of the proceeds to CPC --- and spectators are free! Or we welcome a donation of an item to the gift auction or a contribution to the event. Whichever you choose to do, please know how much your support is appreciated and that you will be helping to make recovery a reality for individuals in our community.
