With over a decade of service and dedication to CPC, Angela Adams is a valued member of the CPC Freehold Counseling Center team. As an Outpatient Case Manager, Angela will tell you how much she enjoys working with clients with chronic and severe mental illness and supporting them through their journey. Angela has also been pursuing her master’s degree at Rutgers in their MSW program and is currently in her last year.

While continuously working on her own development, both personally and professionally, Angela says the field of social work inspires her to be part of a greater change. "I truly believe everything I am learning and acquiring through CPC, and with my education, are incredible and useful tools that I also apply in my own life as I strive to be the best I can be. This experience of hands on learning has ultimately helped me to serve our clients, and the organization, in the best way possible. I have been blessed to take away invaluable skills to better serve our communities."
Like many behavioral health clinicians at CPC, Angela believes in a humanistic approach to supporting clients which involves each person having their own unique journey.
"Helping clients on an individual basis through empowerment, working towards personal growth, and maximizing their autonomy, are what inspires me the most about my career in Social Work." Integrated health is critical and CPC's philosophy of incorporating the mind-body approach is an important aspect for me in working with the 'whole' person. This model of care that CPC embraces has inspired me on my road to becoming at Social Worker, and my journey has been so fulfilling."
Angela credits incredible leadership and support from supervisors and co-workers at CPC. As a collaborative, progressive and evidence-based organization, CPC believes deeply in training the workforce of tomorrow while broadening the reach of mental health and addictions counseling, and community based & peer support resources.
During her free time, Angela cares for her rescue animals including her dog Oliver, two rabbits Benjamin and Bailey, and her horse Monty. She currently fosters a bunny named Annie and is a proud animal rights advocate.
