Holiday Express enters it's 30th year with CPC Behavioral Healthcare
It was the gift of human kindness that brought smiles to the faces, and joy to the hearts of CPC clients this past Monday night at a special party hosted by Holiday Express at the VFW in Port Monmouth, NJ.
CPC clients were treated to a spirited holiday party compliments of Holiday Express---and a few very special guests including: Elmo, The Grinch, Frosty The Snowman and Santa himself! Clients enjoyed dinner graciously donated by the Windmill and danced the night away to favorite holiday classics. The room was filled with singing, laughing, socializing, all thanks to the merriment of a cadre of volunteers and Tim McLoone along with his Holiday Express band.
Holiday Express has been delivering the gift of kindness to CPC since 1993. In fact, CPC was one of the first beneficiaries of the inaugural Holiday Express concerts! Tim McLoone's magical idea to build a fun-loving and spirited musical road show has filled the hearts of thousands of CPC clients over the years.
Highly specialized care for adults with co-occurring mental health disorders.
Clients from CPC’s Partial Care Program happily attended the Holiday Express concert. Our clients look forward to this treasured event annually and were so especially thrilled to attend this year after a two-year hiatus due to covid. The Partial Care Program is for people with psychiatric or co-occurring disorders who require an intensive level of care. The goal is to support each individual so that they may remain in their home setting while gaining skills to lead an independent and productive life in the community. Clients attend the Partial Care Program located in Aberdeen throughout the week and share meals, take part in life skills experiences and other activities including individual and group counseling. CPC counselors deliver care with dignity and respect so that each person is supported on their journey.
A Treasured Friendship
There is a tremendous amount of synergy between CPC and Holiday Express. With shared values of hope, healing and the promise of new possibilities, the connection between our two non-profit organizations is evident. Our CPC community is enriched by our friendship with Holiday Express and we are forever grateful to the many volunteers involved in bringing joy to our clients by delivering food, music and gifts each year.
