CPC Behavioral Healthcare offers an extensive internship program to both undergraduate and graduate students. The program accepts 10-15 interns on an annual basis; availability is year-round.

Candidates may be BA, BSW, MA, MS, and MSW students from schools in New Jersey and New York.

​

All CPC interns receive:

• Active experience in the mental health field.

• Both group and individual supervision.

• Access to mental health professionals including psychiatrists.

• Attendance at staff meetings.

• Bi-monthly training sessions on a variety of social work topics.

• Flexible hours based on each school’s internship criteria.

• CPC’s Internship Training Program features industry professionals who address a variety of topics including: Current Trends in Behavioral Healthcare, DSM, CBT, Mental Status, Outcomes, Performance Improvement, Medication Assisted Treatment, Mobile Response, Safety Planning and Risk Assessment, Children’s Services and Case Management, Stigma, Domestic Violence, Cultural Diversity, Motivational Interviewing, Recovery, EAP, Stress Management and Brief Treatment.
