As Monmouth County’s largest behavioral health nonprofit organization, CPC is a trusted resource for the delivery of integrated, evidence-based services in mental and physical health, substance use, and specialized education. Working with over 10,000 children, teens and adults annually, our trauma-informed team is comprised of physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, licensed social workers, counselors, pharmacists, and peer recovery leaders, at 5 convenient locations throughout Monmouth and northern Ocean Counties. Our individualized and holistic approach to mental wellness and recovery works because we combine evidence-based practices with highly qualified, compassionate staff in an equitable and accessible environment.

The mission of CPC is to support our communities by delivering evidence-based services in mental health, substance use, specialized education, and physical health through an integrated system of care designed to promote wellness, recovery, and productive lives.

CPC has been re-certified for The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care. 


CCBHCs were created through the “Excellence in Mental Health and Addiction Act” as an initiative to expand access to behavioral healthcare in America. While the CCBHC program is growing in New Jersey and Nationwide, CPC is proud to be one of the original 7 mental health agencies to be designated in New Jersey as a CCBHC by the federal government in 2017. 


CPC's High Point School is a New Jersey State Department of Education approved private nonprofit school for students with disabilities, who learn best outside the traditional school setting. 


CPC is a four-star nonprofit and highly rated by Charity Navigator---the world's largest and most trusted nonprofit evaluator. CPC maintains best-of-class financial controls and we are proud of our efficiency and effectiveness in designating over 85% of our expenses to mission and programs while keeping administrative costs low.
