High Point Adolescent School (HPAS) provides a comprehensive and caring approach to education, connecting with students and families to encourage achievement academically, emotionally, behaviorally and socially. HPAS students learn skills to build a foundation for a healthy lifestyle and work with their educational and therapeutic treatment team to plan for a successful transition back to their school district, to the work force or to continued education in a college or vocational setting.
Students attending High Point Adolescent School have the opportunity to receive all required credits needed to remain on grade level and on track for an anticipated graduation date as well as take part in pre-vocational opportunities.
High Point Adolescent School pre-vocational program provides a nurturing and supportive environment to help our students prepare for continued vocational training, community employment or other future career goals. Students have the opportunity to receive pre-vocational instruction in an individual or group setting in the following areas:
* Food Services
* Building Trades
* Production and Assembly
